Two more heroines for STR in vettaimannan

STR next is with Nelson and is called Vettai Mannan. Deeksha Seth will play one of the female leads in this film. Apparently there are two more heroine spots that need to be filled. STR had suggested Asin but Nelson wants someone who is just two or three films old. Bubbly Piaa Bajpai who impressed in Ko is hot stuff at present and is in strong contention for one of the heroine roles.
The other role may go to Amrita Rao, the elder sister of Preetika, who was seen in Chikku Bukku with Arya. But Amrita is extremely choosy when it come to giving the green signal for South Indian projects. She has done only one Telugu film with Mahesh Babu which was a huge hit. She was flooded with offers after that but she is yet to sign anything in these parts. If she is not finalized for the role, others from Bollywood will be considered.
STR plays a killer in this film, which is being shot in Chennai and Brazil. Jai also has a good role in this film.

Thaman has decided to go in for a hip-hop version to suit the trend today. This hip-hop version has been crooned by STR. Thaman is confident that the music of this album will do well, especially the peppy numbers which will attract the young crowd. The lyrics for all the songs have been penned by National award winning lyricist Vairamuthu.

STR and the Vettai Mannan team headed by Nelson have taken off to Brazil. Apparently, the entire first half will be set in Chennai and the second half in Brazil. This film being an action entertainer will feature some superb action sequences. STR has proved that he can dance and now he wants to showcase his talent for stunts as well.
The fight scenes are said to have been intricately choreographed with some risky stunts. Silambarasan has insisted on doing his own stunts and he won't be using a body double. Jai plays his good friend in this flick and Deeksha Seth will take care of the glamor department.

Mysskin and STR join hands

The Mysskin-Silambarasan project is confirmed. It was reported earlier that the director had narrated a one-liner to Silambarasan some days ago and the star had also agreed to play the lead role in it.
Mysskin, who set the ball rolling for this project, is said to have finished the script. Silambarasan will be joining the Mysskin camp as soon as he completes Osthi, the Dabangg remake. Meanwhile, Mysskin will be doing his groundwork for this project. The title, leading lady and other technicians will be officially announced soon.
It may be mentioned here that STR is busy with Vettai Mannan, Osthi and Poda Podi at the moment.
