His performance in Vaanam might have been well received, but Bharath is peeved about the publicity that he was denied during the promos of the film. "I've not been honoured," the actor says, "I've done a multi-starrer before (Pattiyal) and director Vishnuvardhan had ensured that both the actors in the film got due recognition in terms of publicity." According to him, that wasn't the case for Vaanam. "People loved my character and I learnt a lot while working on the film. But, what matters at the end of the day is your face on the publicity material and I'm unhappy that my count is low. To be frank, there was almost nothing!" So, did he get a chance to speak to producer Ganesh and actor Simbu? "Yes," he says, "And they said they'll do the promotions for me as well but I could see only one face in the posters and publicity material of the film. To some extent, I could talk to them but beyond a limit, I did not want to lose my self-respect as well. Now, I just want people to know that I'm not against multi-starrers but Vaanam is a sad phase of my career because of the lack of publicity.

Thalaivan STR aka Simbu and Superstar’s Son in law Dhanush on April 8th. It has been a quite a long time we had any competition with Dhanush.
With a huge success and a total change over after VTV – Vinnaithaandi varuvaaya, Simbu has showed his versatile acting in Vaanam. Even though it is a multi-starer including Anushka, Prakashraj and Bharath, STR stands unique as he has taken care of the Music Department along with Yuvan and few technical aspects of the film along with the ace director Krish. The movie is going to give a winning start for Simbu this year. And we can really bask on its glory.
Coming to Dhanush, he had a couple of failures in the recent past with Kutti, Uthamaputhiran and Padikathavan and then came back with a bang, with the support of Vetri Maaran who gave him Aadukalam. The movie gave mixed responses from the crowd. The song Yathe Yathe scored by G.V.Prakash was indeed a sole winner. Dhanush’s acting was indeed praisable. Now Dhanush has a movie Maapillai which is a remake of yester year Superstar classic by the same name.
Both Vaanam and Maapillai will release on April 8th once the World cup finals gets over. Vaanam aduio launch falls on 6th of March and there is no news on Maapillai audio launch.  The first competition would be over Audio sales and Fans are requested to have themselves updated with all the news.
Orkut Fans and Online Fans and Main Stream fans are asked to work on their maximum best, by keeping aside their Ego’s on who is bigger and rather should concentrate on promoting Vaanam.
Dhanush starrer Maapillai will be a SUN Tv Release and they have already ordered theatre owners to have Maapillai released on all their screens and we will have better and higher number of theatres booked for Vaanam. So we need to be extra careful,  as they ‘SUN’ will split promotions like every 15 seconds on their television Network.
Whatever may be, we are going to witness a sensational battle on theatres this April.

STR's Vaanam Original BGM Sound Tracks Ripped By Simbuworld.

True talent speaks for itself. Sonia Aggarwal the pretty actress is back in the news as she has signed an important role in Vaanam.

Vaanam has a huge star cast of Silambarasan, Bharath, Prakash Raj Anushka, Sneha Ullal and now Sonia, who all have equal screen space as it is is a complex cocktail of five different interwoven stories.

Sonia told sify.com: “I am so happy to be a part of Vaanam as I had seen the original and loved it. I always wanted my comeback film to be a memorable one and though my role is not the central character, it is well- etched out and I loved the manner in which director Krish narrated it to me. Krish has also promised me a song and four more scenes than in the original Telugu version”

Sonia also adds that she was approached by Krish during the making of Vedam for the same role opposite Manoj Bajpai who did the original but could not due to some personal reasons.

Simbu and Sneha Ulla is now removed and re-taking

Simbu is a happy man. Ever since his single Yevan di… from the film Vaanam hit music stores, Chennai has been humming the song.
And soon, of  B-town will follow suit.
The actor who is in Mumbai shooting for the video of the song is kicked about lending his voice for the Hindi version. “This is my first attempt in Bollywood. Initially, the team was not sure whether the single would work as it was just one song,” says Simbu, whose character in the film is called `Cable Raja’.
All their doubts were swept aside the minute the Tamil version of the song was released. “Venus Company
was extremely pleased with the outcome and they wanted a Hindi version. So we decided that we’d release a video album of the track.” After lending his voice for the Hindi version, Simbu, who has no experience of singing in Hindi, says, “I enjoyed recording for my first Hindi song.
Shabeer Ahmed has penned the lyrics for this version.”
The actor says, “I tried to understand the lyrics while recording and though I’m not too comfortable with the language, I’m sure I’ll perfect it in future.”
This may be his debut song in Hindi, but singing by itself is not new to the actor, who says he’d welcome similar offers in Bollywood films. “Why not?
It’s pocket money, so I’ll surely take it up.”
The track will be filmed on various sets and the actor says, “Ahmed Khan, who choreographed the Tamil song, will be doing the Hindi version as well.
We’ve already discussed the sets and sequence.”
According to the actor, huge sets have been erected to go with the theme of the song. Hip-hop and jazz will be the highlights of its choreography. “It’s a typical club scene,” adds Simbu.
Ask him about who’s pairing up with him for the Hindi song and he says, “Jasmine danced with me for Vaanam and we have signed up a new girl for the Hindi version.”
The video album is likely to release around April 9, which is the tentative date of release for Vaanam.

Vaanam seems to be crossing all hurdles. With Vaanam audio supposed to be released on 15th of this month,  thalaiva STR conveyed that the Audio launch would indeed be postponed to 21st of this month pushing from a week as announced before.
The reason is said to be the that Venus the recording labels have got a huge number of orders from the Shops and they have to cope up with the expectations with the extra special Audio cover and details in it.

STR Silambarasan , has injured himself in Chennai where they were shooting for Vaanam.
It happened when STR who was supposed to drive the bike fitted with a Camera in front of it lost the balance and sled to one side making it hard for STR to control the bike crashing him down with full force.
It incident took place in a busy road and the entire crew where shocked for a moment, as the shot was taken in live traffic.
STR with his quick presence of mind crawled to the pedestrian, avoiding the car that was racing behind him. He has injured his legs and hands and was treated for bruises and cut wounds.
Later STR was driven back home and asked to take rest. Hearing on their Hero who was injured, Fans thronged his house at Tnagar which led to few drastic scenes, when STR came out and conveyed the message that he his doing better and he his tired and he needs to take rest. Hearing STR’s voice and him physically speaking the Fans wished him a speedy recovery and went back home.
The Doctor has advised to take rest for 4 – 5 days, which will indeed harp the shooting of Vaanam.

In the recent days, we can see that there is no news coming out on STR Silambarasan, it is said that Thalaivan Silambarasan is upset with the postponing of Vaanam single and is working hard on to release it for Diwali. STR is in constant touch with Yuvan over the composition of the tracks and it is heard that there are quite some changes and modifications going on.Busy bee, Simbu is also checking out the script of Vettai Mannan and has asked its Director Nelson to work more on the Comedy Part.yuvan and str combo back this deepavali try to release single audio in vaanam soon . STR delighted with the positive comments by the censor board officials. One of a lady official said that she never expected  STR  to have done this role and that it will take him to new heights and congragulated the vaanam team u/a  really our str fans awaiting to rock n cinemas .

Silambarasan aka STR is sometimes impatient, sometimes temperamental and sometimes impulsive.

He had proved once again with Vaanam that his phenomenal star power is simply un parallel. It is his child like vulnerability that strikes you the most, when you speak to him.

He may give the ‘I’m-casual-about-my-work’ vibe but there would be no compromises when it comes to work, even if that means shooting all night long without breaks.

If he loves something, he will go to any extent of pushing himself as seen by the working pattern he chose during filming of Vaanam and now Osthi.

He was once the little superstar. Then he turned mass hero. And now Silambarasan, a.k.a. Simbu, is the darling of girls everywhere, thanks to his Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya performance. The actor, who has Vaanam and Poda Podi coming up, opened up to his fans

After a long, long wait, here is the official report. Vaanam starring our Thalaivan STR Silambarasan will have its  Audio launched at Chennai in Sathyam Cinemas on March 6th. movie at april 1st weekend.
